Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By enabling and using the Sfera Alexa Skill ("the Skill"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Skill. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and SferaTech S.R.L.

2. Description of Service

The Sfera Alexa Skill allows you to control your Sfera home automation system using Amazon Alexa voice commands. The Skill enables you to:

• •Control lights and dimmers
• •Adjust thermostats and climate settings
• •Activate scenes and automations
• •Control blinds and shutters
• •Query device states and sensor readings

3. Requirements

To use the Skill, you must:

• •Have a functioning Sfera home automation system
• •Have an Amazon account and an Alexa-enabled device
• •Have an active internet connection on both your Sfera system and Alexa device
• •Link your Amazon account with your Sfera system through the Skill

4. Account Linking

The Skill requires account linking to connect your Amazon Alexa account with your Sfera system. By completing the account linking process, you authorize the Skill to send commands to your Sfera devices. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• •Use the Skill only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms
• •Ensure that your Sfera system is properly configured and maintained
• •Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Skill
• •Not use the Skill in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our services
• •Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

6. Intellectual Property

The Skill, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by SferaTech S.R.L. and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Skill for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these terms.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SKILL IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• •Warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
• •Warranties that the Skill will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• •Warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of any information obtained through the Skill

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SFERATECH S.R.L. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SKILL. IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Third-Party Services

The Skill operates in conjunction with Amazon Alexa and your Sfera home automation system. Your use of Amazon Alexa is subject to Amazon's terms of service and privacy policy. We are not responsible for any third-party services, and their availability may affect the functionality of the Skill.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Skill at any time by disabling it in your Alexa app and unlinking your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Skill at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these terms will immediately cease.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of these terms. Your continued use of the Skill after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Italy. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or your use of the Skill shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Rome, Italy.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
